Our July newsletter is ready!
It's filled with important information, including major changes coming to your checking account
IMPORTANT INFORMATION AFFECTING YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT

Under new federal regulations that will take effect August 15, 2010, DB&T will no longer be able authorize overdrafts on your checking accounts for the following transactions, unless you give us your permission by Opting-In.
- ATM withdrawals and transfers
- One-time debit card transactions
If you opt-in and one of these transactions overdraws your account, DB&T may pay the transaction. If we do so, we will follow our standard overdraft policy. If you do not opt-in to this program, and you try to make transactions when you do not have sufficient funds, we generally will decline the transaction.
To learn more please click on the OPT IN button.

FRAUD PLUS PROTECTION AT DB&T

We are participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under this program, through December 31, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate form the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
